Beauty has always been my compass.
My paintings explore the romance of nature and the quiet yet magical connection between the seen and the Unseen. Through luminous landscapes, botanicals and contemplative still lifestyles, I seek to create moments of wonder, peace, joy and optimism, paintings that invite us to pause, breathe and remember the beauty that surrounds us.
My artistic journey began unusually early. At the age of four, I studied under master painter Henry Hinsch, a founding member of Göttingen’s Kreis 34 artists’ circle. His disciplined approach to drawing and observation shaped my eye from the very beginning. That classical foundation, deepened through a lifetime of study with devoted teachers and mentors, continues to inform my work today
Before returning to painting full time, I spent many years as a certified professional coach, helping individuals and leaders discover greater clarity, purpose, and possibility. Those years taught me to listen deeply, to recognize what is essential, and to appreciate the quiet ways in which people—and lives—can be transformed. Those same qualities now find expression in my paintings.
Today my work is increasingly centered on celebrating beauty as a life-giving force. Flowers, light, color, and the natural world have become a visual language through which I explore abundance, hope, presence, and the quiet mystery woven through everyday life.
Whether depicting a radiant bouquet, a peaceful landscape, or an evocative interior, my hope is that each painting offers a place of rest—a reminder that beauty has the power to reconnect us with ourselves and with what matters most.
